An annual treat for short film fans... Cleverly creative, heart-warming and humorous, the British Arrows Awards bring us the best of made-in-the-UK adverts and PSAs for television, the web and cinema, focused on inspired entertainment and storytelling rather than hard sell.
   From high-tech extravaganzas to wacky British comedy – including outstanding performances by children, animals, and A-listers – this celebration of creativity presents the UK's most innovative and daring work by directors such as David Fincher, Wes Anderson, Nick Gordon, Sam Brown and Dougal Wilson.
   The Arrows winners have some heft – short films really – ranging from one to three minutes, providing delight and surprise through humor, pathos and dynamic cinematography, just like CWC's popular annual Oscar Shorts.
   And, the inventiveness of these British adverts, most of which withhold their purpose until the very end, provides a playful and unique cross-cultural experience.
