Unless otherwise indicated in writing, tickets are for General Admission and there are no exchanges and no refunds. In the event of calamities, ex: events that cause the closing of film venues, etc.; CWC reserves the right to reschedule or replace the film event and honor tickets purchased for the original date, but such offer may be time-sensitive and in no way constitutes an obligation or guarantee on the part of Cincinnati World Cinema.
In the event of confusion regarding purchase status, i.e.: you think you purchased on-line but do not have a confirmation email and we do not have a record of the purchase, you will be asked to pay at the door. If we can later verify your on-line purchase, the amount you paid at the door will be promptly refunded.
<> TICKET PRICES
CWC employs two-tiered ticket pricing – Advance and At-the-Door – in order to schedule appropriate staff for our screenings and to determine the feasibility of adding additional screenings. Regular adult film tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Student and Arts Pass film tickets are offered for select events and are typically $8 in advance and $12 at the door. Prices may vary for special screenings, live events, etc. – check the event web page before purchasing.
Advance tickets are available online and by phone until three hours before show time. At-the-Door tickets are available at the venue thirty minutes before show time.
<> DISCOUNTS
Generally - but not always - CWC offers three kinds of discount tickets:
for high school and college students with current, valid student ID;
for members of Arts Wave with current, valid Arts Wave Pass ID;
for groups of eight or more students, for selected events, when purchased in advance.
If requested by box office personnel, you will need to show a current, valid photo ID such as a drivers license or student enrollment card. Discounts will not be extended for out-of-date, no-date, or obviously bogus IDs. ID-scammers will be tied to an uncomfortable chair and forced to watch endless reruns of Married with Children. Typically, the discount is around 20%, i.e.: a $10 advance ticket for $8. Discounts are exclusive of any surcharge or fee that may be levied by the venue or ticket service. Discounts are not cumulative and cannot be combined with any other type of discount or price reduction, such as series packages, combo tickets and double-feature package tickets. The above discounts are not available for Oscar Shorts, nor for multi-media events that include live performances, art exhibits, etc., featuring third parties.
