From 8,000+ short film entries for the Sundance Film Festival, roughly 1% were chosen. This year we have five Jury Award Winners and three outstanding short films picked by the SFF programmers, all notable for their vibrant style, variety and freshness.

You'll enjoy best-of-fest comedy, drama, documentary and animation from these talented and visionary Sundance filmmakers from the U.S. and around the world — four women, four men, all under 40.

Join us for five screenings on the Showboat Majestic to rekindle the 100-year history of floating cinema on American waterways. Learn more about this National Historical Landmark.

This bittersweet comedy about loneliness follows a young woman who is adrift and seeking intimacy in the most unlikely places.

The lines between trust, betrayal, and forgiveness are intertwined for two Senegalese vendors as they try to survive make a living on the streets of New York City.

Edmond's impulse to be close to others is strong – maybe too strong. Contemplating his options, he reflects on the defining moments in his life.

In this endearing and frenetic mixed-media short, elderly Razie Brownstone discovers "the Google," which leads her to eat bacon for the first time in her life and contemplate her lifelong Jewish upbringing.

In 17 minutes of slow-burn romantic doom, a boyfriend's jealousy and mistrust spiral out of control in the face of his girlfriend's cruel disdain.

As the balance of the world turns upside down for the Anishinabek people, the elder Naamowin builds a healing drum to save his grandson and his people.
