    PaddleFest Film Festival

Cincinnati World Cinema, the Ohio River Way, Cincinnati Museum Center and WNKU 89.7-FM are pleased to present the 2007 Paddlefest Film Festival and Expo! Please join us in welcoming the best short films from the annual National Paddling Film Festival.

Join us for an exciting collection of high energy short films that convey the movement, speed and thrill found in outdoor water sports and also highlight the cultural differences encountered as extreme kayaking and other paddle sports take hold around the world.

The PaddleFest Film Festival is a family-friendly event - you will see paddle sports participants of all ages and skill levels - from a 10-year-old boy shooting over a waterfall to world champions of extreme white-water kayaking.

This unique cinematic offering is a proven crowd pleaser, appealing to a wide audience: canoeing, kayaking and rafting enthusiasts; people who appreciate action-oriented travelogues depicting the most beautiful natural waterways in this country and world-wide; and those who care about the preservation of America's scenic waterways.

In addition to the PaddleFest films at the newly renovated Reakirt Theatre, from Noon until 6:00 pm Sunday you can browse displays from local outfitters and environmental organizations to learn more about how to enjoy and help protect our rivers.

    • Special thanks to our partners in this event - the Ohio River Way, Cincinnati Museum Center and WNKU 89.7-FM - for making it all possible !!!
